Why order a physical sample first?
- See the actual fabric quality — photos and Pantone references can only tell you so much. Holding the sample reveals pile height, hand-feel, stitch tension, and the seam-strength a buyer cares about.
- Test the safety profile in person — pull the eyes, tug the limbs, examine the embroidery for loose threads. We pre-test to EN71 / ASTM / CPSIA, but a buyer-side eye-test before mass production catches anything we missed.
- Validate the embroidery / print fidelity — colours that look perfect on screen sometimes drift when stitched. The sample is your sign-off before we cut 1,000 of them.
- Internal stakeholder approval — marketing, licensing, brand, legal — most teams need a physical to sign off. We courier the sample within 2 business days of completion.
Sample process — what to expect

Submit brief
Send sketch / reference photos, target size, Pantone colours, and any accessory requirements (sound chip, magnet, embroidered logo).

Quote within 24 h
We confirm feasibility, list any spec gaps, and quote sample fee ($80–$200 depending on complexity) plus express courier cost.
- 03
50% deposit, sample starts
On deposit, sample production begins: pattern, cutting, embroidery, sewing, stuffing, finishing. Standard 5–7 working days.

Photo + video review
Before shipping, we send hi-res photos and a 360° video so you can request tweaks. Sample is re-worked once at no extra charge.
- 05
Courier dispatch
DHL / FedEx / UPS dispatch. Tracking number provided. Most destinations 3–5 days transit.

Bulk PO
After sample approval, sample fee is refunded on bulk orders ≥500 pcs. Bulk production starts on 30% deposit.

Sample order — frequently asked questions
How much does a custom plush toy sample cost?

$80–$200 sample fee depending on complexity (size, embroidery thread count, accessories). Express courier add-on $30–$60. Sample fee is refundable on bulk orders ≥500 pieces.
How fast can I receive a sample?

5–7 working days production + 3–5 days express courier = roughly 8–12 days door-to-door. Rush sampling (3-day production) available with a 30% surcharge for a 6–8 day total.
Can you send multiple samples in different sizes?

Yes. We commonly send 2–3 sizes (e.g. 20 cm + 30 cm + 40 cm) so you can decide retail size against actual hand-feel. Each size is a separate sample fee.
Will my Pantone colours match exactly in the sample?

When you specify Pantone TCX/TPG codes we match to within ΔE ≤ 2. If a colour falls outside our 200+ pre-dyed stock, we can custom-dye for the sample (adds 5–7 days, 100 m minimum).
Do you sign NDAs before reviewing my design?

Yes — we have a standard mutual NDA ready to sign before any design review. Send your own NDA if you prefer. Licensed-IP samples never appear in our portfolio or marketing.
