Which giant plush format fits which park use
Three giant-plush formats serve different park use cases:
- Claw machine prize plush (50 cm) — fits inside a standard claw-machine cabinet (60cm internal clearance). Pre-compressed at shipping; recovers loft once dispensed. Cost-optimised for the prize-redemption economics ($18-25/unit).
- Fan-zone game prize plush (60-80 cm) — distributed by booth attendant after game win. Larger than claw-machine prize so the visible-win is bigger; cost-justified by booth-game economics.
- Hero retail / display plush (80-120 cm) — flagship store display, photo backdrops in park-store corners. Sometimes sold to high-budget guests; sometimes purely display (rotated annually).
Specific to claw machine plush — the size/grab/eject triangle
Claw machine plush has three constraints most factories don't think about: cabinet size (must fit inside standard claw machine cabinet — ≤55cm length when compressed), claw grip surface (smooth round body shape grips better than awkward extremities), eject chute size (post-grab, the plush must fall through the eject chute — 25cm diameter typical, so any plush feature wider than that jams the machine).
We design and ship claw-machine plush with these constraints in the spec from day one. Vacuum-compressed in shipping bag so the plush goes from carton → machine cabinet without an intermediate fluffing step on your operator's part.
